CONNECTA AT A GLANCE
SPEED NETWORKING
The heart of Connecta is speed networking: quick introductions and conversations between carefully-chosen partners lasting 7 minutes each.
There are 2 rounds of speed networking, each lasting 90 minutes. That means you have up to 25 chances to connect with new people and companies.
Speed networking sessions are all about making the right connections. They match trucking companies seeking loads with businesses that have loads to offer. In addition, we cater to mixed-profile companies that handle both.
Everyone who registers will indicate what they offer and what they are looking for in turn. Attendees are then grouped by:
Based on this information, our platform will design an optimized schedule for each attendee to help them make the greatest number of relevant connections.
CARGO AREA
The Cargo Area is designed for Freight Forwarders to hold meetings with potential new transport partners.
Companies that buy a Cargo Area ticket will receive a table in this section where they can hold meetings. Exhibiting in the Cargo Area requires a minimum of two people to represent your company, as one must stay in the Cargo Area while the other attends the Speed Networking sessions.
A few months before the event, we will announce the companies who plan to attend and encourage participants to request interviews in 15 minute slots. You will be able to manage appointments and accept, reject or reschedule them as needed.
BY THE NUMBERS
SHIPPER AREA
The Shipper Area is designed for Shippers to have space to meet potential new transport partners. The Shipper Area will be open throughout the duration of the event.
